Home has never been just one place.
It’s New York, South Carolina, and now Seattle. It’s the people we’ve collected along the way, and the ones we’ve yet to meet. And somehow, a little corner of Tuscany is where all of those worlds get to come together.
So we’re doing what feels most like us: bringing everyone we love somewhere beautiful, staying awhile, and celebrating together.

A place where neighbors become family, strangers become friends, and dinner somehow lasts four hours.
Then…
For five days… this entire village belongs to us.
No hotels. No shuttle schedules. No disappearing after dinner. Just coffee together. Wine together. Swimming together. Late nights under the stars, together.
This isn't a venue. It's Borgo Argenina, our home.
And starting June 16th… it's yours too.
Borgo Argenina sits in the hills just outside Gaiole in Chianti, about an hour and a quarter south of Florence.

The long way in, and worth every minute. Stay a few days, eat everything, then head north.

Rent the car.
Our one non-negotiable. The best of Tuscany is down roads no taxi wants to take.
Before you go: US drivers need an International Driving Permit alongside their license. It takes ten minutes at AAA and costs about $20.
Parking: free and on site at the borgo.
One tip: steer clear of the ZTL signs in town centers. Those limited-traffic zones send fines straight to your mailbox, sometimes a year later.
Size down: roads are narrow and parking spots are small. A compact car is your friend; book an automatic early if you need one.

Right here with us. Every guest stays on site, complimentary, from June 16–20. No booking needed on your end. We’ve got it covered.

Rooming details will be given to you upon arrival. If you have a special request, like a ground-floor room, tell us anytime.

Yes. We highly recommend it for exploring beyond the borgo.

Florence is closest (about 1 hr 15 min). Pisa has more flights (about 2 hrs). Rome is the scenic long way (about 3 hrs).

Welcome dinner Wednesday, rehearsal dinner Thursday, the wedding Friday, one more adventure Saturday, goodbyes Sunday. The full day-by-day is in Il Programma. More details to arrive soon.

Welcome dinner: garden casual. Rehearsal dinner: cocktail. The wedding: to be communicated soon, still taking shape. The village is gravel and stone paths, so block heels or flats will save you. Bring a swimsuit and a layer for the evenings.

Warm, golden days in the low 80s °F, and cool hill evenings that can drop into the high 50s. Sunscreen by day, a wrap or light jacket by night.

Your invitation will list everyone we’ve saved a room for.

It’s a hillside village, so expect slopes, steps and uneven stone. If stairs or walking are a concern, let us know and we’ll plan your room and the evenings around it.
